Super Dragon Punch!! has cultivated its signature sound by creating electronic music that is influenced by 80s video game sounds, synthpop and industrial, as well as several other influences.
Mexican-Belgian artist Jérémie Venganza has been active as a live performer with various Futurepop/Industrial/EBM projects for over 15 years, before creating his solo project.
The stage performances of Jérémie Venganza's solo project are enhanced by several live musicians and performers, creating a unique show.
The band has performed with their illustrious highly energetic live shows at many events in Europe, Latin America, and Japan, sharing stages with different kind of acts such as Hocico, Suicide Commando, Horskh, Agonoize, Nachtmahr, Centhron, Alien Vampires, Frozen Plasma, Torul, Alienare, Kanga, S Y Z Y G Y X, . .
In 2016, SDP!! won the Dark Demons Night concert contest, scoring a gig at BIMfest festival and was selected to play a gig at the official after party of Tokyo Decadance 2017, in Japan. They were selected as opening act for the first ever Suicide Commando concert in Brussels, in 2019, alongside Ambassador21. In 2023 SDP!!, went on tour through Latin America with Frozen Plasma, State Of The Union & Reaper, playing several events like Synth Fest 5 and Synthember festival, and has also been invited to perform at Hellsinki Industrial Festival.
SDP!! was the winner of the W-fest Battle of the Artists competition that was supposed to make them score a gig on the main stage of W-festival 2024, getting the opportunity to perform on the same stage as artists like 2 Unlimited, Snap!, Culture Beat, Jenny Berggren from Ace Of Base, before the festival got cancelled due to bankruptcy. They also won the public vote contest and won a VR immersive music video.
SDP!! performed again at BIMfest in 2024 and did another Mexican tour that year. In 2025, They were voted to become one of the finalist bands at the concert contest for RatRock festival, and also performed at La Luna Obscura festival.
SDP!! released it’s first EP in october 2017, followed by a long awaited first album in 2021. The latest album “Thorns“ was released in 2024 and reached the 3rd position of the Deutsche Alternative Charts. The track Gloom was #39 of Synthpop Fanatic 100 favourite 2024 songs.
New remixes by different artists, for every track of Thorns are released each month in 2025, while finishing work on the new album.

Belgian industrial band, SUPER DRAGON PUNCH!! has announced the release of their new & highly-anticipated full-length album, Thorns.
This record features 10 new memorable powerful tracks that are a combination of faster club-oriented harsh Industrial and Futurepop, reminiscent of SDP!!’s intense punk energetic live shows, as well as haunting dark ballads.
Expect SDP!!’s unique mix of catchy melodies, pumping synths, stomping beats, glitchy effects, blended with retro gaming sounds.
The aggressive and melodic emotional vocals sing honest deep introspective lyrics about despair, hatred, and pain.
The songs are mainly about being lost in one's desperate tortured and destructive thoughts, about past and present demons, about being afraid of getting hurt by others or losing them or relationship difficulties and fights. It's called Thorns because there's some kind of pain associated to everything that is beautiful and nice in life.
Guest vocals on the hard and dismal ballad “Scar” are provided by talented Dutch vocalist Lis van den Akker.
It is released in a limited edition digipack, reinforced by remixes by ESA, Dulce Liquido, SITD, Soman and Modulate remixing “Split”, “Haste” and “Rise” in their own particular styles.

Jérémie Venganza is bovendien een uitstekende volksmenner die haast geen seconde stilstaat en keihard werkt opdat iedereen uit de bol gaat! Er is ook een uitstekende bassist die zorgt voor een harder geluid. Daarnaast is er nog een aanstelijke dame die voor de beats, beeps en bleeps en zowat alles wat ze uit een synth kan halen slaat. Het feestje kan niet stuk en ik heb wat spijt dat ik niet meer van hun nummers ken. Niet alleen dit trio heeft genoten (en toont héél wat dankbaarheid): ook het publiek en de mensen die hen voor het eerst aan het werk hebben gezien hebben genoten!
